Purpose: The GD.Veda program is based on ancient canons of Ayurvedic and Tibetan medicine combined with the latest achievements in functional diagnostics.
Ayurveda (from Sanskrit “Ayus,” meaning “life” and “life principle” or “long life”, and “veda,” knowledge) is a traditional Indian system of medicine, originated in about 800 BC. Its basic procedures (diagnosis of heart rate and breathing, therapeutic diets, etc.) have become part of medical practice in all countries. Such directions and methods as surgery, internal medicine, pediatrics, pharmacology, and ophthalmology, massage, acupuncture, physiotherapy and dietetics also moved into the modern medical practice. According to the World Health Organization, health is “a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely absence of disease or infirmity.” According to Ayurvedic health, it is a living harmony between the environment, human body and mind.
